I just started Accutane and I've heard that your skin/lips/hair get very dry. What should I expect? And do you have any tips on what I should do?

Yes all that I true. Depending on what dosage you are on depends on how bad the side effects are. I'm on a low dosage and so I don't get Extremely dry skin but I do definetly get it on my lips, face and arms. Just invest in a good moisturizer and moisturizer day and night. Plus side to things is I no longer have to touch up my makeup at school anymore or wash my hair as often :p always make sure you have a good Chapstick on hand, my personal favourite is lucus paw paw ointment! Also it will most likely get a lot worst before it gets better for a few weeks. I'm currently on my 3rd month now and there is significant improvement. Expect the odd flare up every now again as that is what accutane does. ITS ALL WORTH IT
