I was just wondering if any of y'all have tips and examples on how to do a smokey eye? I always get it mixed up with a gradient eye. Pictures would help! Thanks in advance! :)

A smokey eye should be the darkest at your lash line and gradually fade toward your brow bone. Blending is key for a smokey eye! no harsh edges, not even for eyeliner, and you smoke out your bottom lash line too. Here's a picture of one, this isn't my picture.

I think if you're just starting out with a smokey eye, you should try a simpler one first until moving on to a more complex one. Here is an eg.
