Have you tested the colour to see if they're different in their effect?

One looks like the Original Chocolate Soleil. And the lighter one looks like the MILK CHOCOLATE one.

I've had this happen before with other products. I remember getting a sample of a bb cream which matched my skin great so I ordered the full sized product and when it arrived it was a completely different colour! Test the colours they may actually be the same, if not, maybe contact the company saying this and asking why.

Have you tried it out

I think Marleen is right. there's the regular chocolate soleil then there's the milk chocolate which was lighter and made for fairer skin.

Both are chocolate soleil! Just wondering why the original and sample size would be different shades? And no I havent tried it out. Seems like the sample size is browner.

Belive it or not ladies, these are the same bronzers. Is it common for companies to do this?

Thats funny because I have an even smaller sample size and it is way browner than both of those! Maybe its because the product is more concentrated into one spot? Have you tried them? Do they still work for you?

Have you tried actually wearing it? Perhaps the difference doesn't show on the skin, try a side by side swatch and check for yourself :) and thank you for letting us know!

Oops! you didn't try it. sorry about the question. Maybe let us know how it goes!

That's odd, now I feel the need to go check mine and see how they compare!

I think it looks like different shades because of the size of container, and the smaller container has more black on the container itself therefore making the product appear darker... It's just a play on light and the light retractions and stuff of the packaging. I'm pretty sure swatching them both side by side they will match up.

The sample size only comes in the "Deep" shade, which is why you see a difference in color between the lighter Milk Chocolate shade.
