Split Ends!! I Don't Want To Chop It Off!!??

I don't have over exaggerating split ends. but is there anything that can help to prevent them. I've being tryin to let my hair grow for years. and I havent touched my straigthner for months. I want LONG HAIR.

I would just trim off the split ends and the split ends only. Trust your stylist! If you don't cut them off, they'll split further along your hair and you'll eventually have to cut more or your hair won't look healthy at all.

Well, I'm not certain on that. I would say pamper your hair, sort through it every day in search of split ends, and maybe try some fun hair treatments that will work for your hair type. c:

I think you should trim them. but split ends only! cause they'll just keep opening more.

Split end menders are false advertising in my opinion, lol.
you can't put ends back together after they've split. it's like trying to bring back the dead. once they've split, you can only chop them off. so I 100% agree with Cleopatra.

some products I use to prevent spilt ends is the Bedhead Split End Repair leave in conditioner & Redken's Anti Snap leave in serum. I also like to use Loreal's Power Moisture mask every time I shower. I would also stay away from heat products as much as possible, & ALWAYS use a heat protector if you are using them, including blow drying. there's a million & one other things you can do to prevent breakage, but I'd say that's #1.

Maybe deep condition it and use protectant a when you style your hair and redken has extreme anti snap which helps the split ends from splitting higher. But if you want split ends gone then you have to cut it
