i kind of want one for xmas and hear they're great...do they really work wonders like i hear. i have combo skin and occasionally get breakouts so I'm hoping this will help. its a little pricey to not work...any thoughts?!

I just bought mine yesterday, I heard such amazing things. even when I bought it from sephora all 3 of the clerks were about to pee their pants in exitment for me. expensive and I asked about it 2 months b4 I got it... hope its a winner!

It's life changing. After the first time you use it, you will be amazed. Your face will feel cleaner than it ever has before. It helps pull out dirt and oil that normal cleansing doesn't get. It's anti aging as well. Dermatologists recommend it. Change the brush head every 3 mo. Don't use a wash that has beads in it or anything gritty. You'll love it!

I love my clarasonic! I spay the brush head with rubbing alcohol after each use to keep it germ free. They do also sell ultraviolet cleaner for it too. I saw one on eBay.

The trick with the clarisonic is, on top of replacing the brush heads 3-4 times a year, you also have to CLEAN them weekly. Otherwise, yes you will break out. Treat these brushes just like you would a makeup brush or washcloth. Clean them! I've had wonderful results with mine and the josie maran argan cleansing oil. In 5 months, my breakouts have greatly diminished, my skin is smoother than it's ever been since before puberty and I've gone from OILY skin to normal skin. My serums and treatments all seem to soak in and work better. In short, best personal investment I've made besides starting a yoga practice!
