Sooo my skin always looks kinda gross and sometimes dry and flaky. I'm wondering if everyone has texture problems up close or if I need to come to terms with expensive product or if I need to do something different with my face. I always exfoliate, moisturize, and prime.

Skin will never be airbrush perfect, I will always have faded scars from acne but luckily I have makeup to cover them.
Maybe see a dermatoligist if its that serious or try out different products and see what's best for you, remember just because its expensive doesn't mean it'll be good for you!

What kind of moisturizer do you use? (Brand/ lotion ,cream ECT) I also have texture problems, they used to be A LOT worse than they are now, I have dry, oily combination skin, my dryness used to be horrific until I switched from a lotion moisturizer to a cream (CeraVe in a jar) and it has change sky skin for the better! My skin used to be so dull and dry, then uber oily in my t zone of that make sense, but now, I have smoother more lively looking skin! I am by no means trying to make a product placement or something to that effect, I say this because reading over it it really sounds kind of advertisey. I also like to use a washcloth to take off my makeup and go over my skin gently after wards , to help exfoliate away any dead skin! I do that at night, I apply my CeraVe twice a day, in a very small amount! One half of a jar has lasted me four months!

I agree with Isabel. I use the CeraVe in the winter because my face gets that dry gross look but when I moisturize it's oily all over but the CeraVe helped so much and I bought the day time and the night time ones.

Be careful I had this problem the best thing to check wz a dermotolgist and use products for sensitive skin..combination a facial wash and if you have acne use an acne treatment but first I would suggest to pay a visit for a dermatologist and gd luck
