When I like Almay LONG WEAR & WATERPROOF Eyemakeup Removwr Pads. Although I do not use waterproof mascara, I DO NOT want to tug on my eyes. I press them onto my eyes and press & slightly & slowly move them side to side then wipe gently off. It usually use 2 for each eye. It leaves an oily residue which I wash the rest of my face. Some people don't like having an oily residue but in my experience an oilier remover is the best for waterproof makeup. You can also use baby oil, but then you have to buy plain cotton makeup remover pads which for me had a tendency to shed tiny fibers that would get into my eyes and are hard to see and remove.

Try to melt the mascara with the remover. Pour it onto cotton pads, one below and one on your closed eye. Hold it there for about 20 seconds for each eye and it should be easier to take it off!

Omg! I had the same issue! Seriously this works like magic! Use ponds cold cream and rub it all over your lashes and eyelids! It's almost like Vaseline but a makup remover! Works wonders! Omg I probs used too many exclamation marks!!

All of the above, but baby oil or even a very emollient cream could work. Just be careful not to get it into your eyes.
