Dress for the job you want, keep makeup natural or very chic and innocent. Keep hair out of forehead because it psychologically links that to truthfulness. Brown is a good professional color and so is black. For my job interview I used my rotc uniform which was a fitted service jacket or blazer over a tie tabbed shirt with a well fitting skirt which length varied around the knee cap area. I used patent black 2 inch heels and skin tone tights.

Idk just a nice skirt or dress pants with a flirty but appropriate blouse works fine.

That was my first job interview and I may how over done it but the uniform gave example to what kind of person I am as well.

For a department store interview, I'd wear something sharp and classic. all black and white with simple accessories.

So they'll remember your outfit for the right reasons haha. maybe something like this. black ankle pants, nude shoes, off white blouse, and a jacket (blazer, structured sweater, whatever) to tie it together. :)
