Lightening my hair

I recently dyed my hair red and I damaged it pretty badly. My hair stilts was only able to highlight it with foils but it's much warmer than I'd like. Do y'all know of any things I could do to lighten it without damaging? I'm at work so I can't take a picture of just my hair but here's one where you can see it.

I would leave it a couple of days before you do anything. Do a deep conditioning treatment (Aussie do fantastic conditioners) and maybe try a hair mask too and avoid heat. Then dye it or something.
