I have red/orange hair with a tiny bit of blonde in it and I really love all the parts that are blond. I want to get blonde highlights in it. Should I? Is it expensive? Is it permanent?

I love to highlight red hair... The blonde is permanent ( it grows out) and it gives red hair beautiful dimension. I love a golden toner on it or if you like your brighter pieces have them not tone it. Yes highlights are pricey but the look is worth it.
