It depends on the look you're going for... For a more rose "youthful" look with a pop of color that can also be used for a night look. The Naked 2 has more everyday and neutral looks. Personally, I love the 2.

I have both, and on a daily basis I use the naked 2, the naked 3 is more suited to nighttime looks (personally, anyway)! :)

The naked 2 is good if you're looking for everyday natural looks, smokey looks, and taupe colors all in one palette rather ten having all pink shades in the naked 3.

I think it depends on the type of makeup you like to wear. I love my brown shadows, but I was looking for something a little different. So the naked 3 palette is perfect for me for when I want to play things up.
