So, its going to be my first time purchasing a foundation and I have oily skin, so I heard 'Estee Double Wear Foundation' is good for oily skin(oil- free), does not rub off, won't clog pores, lasts up to 15hours, won't oxidize, light weight and is a medium to buildable coverage as the product says. I have done my research on this foundation and watched reviews on YouTube but I want to know from you Beautylish ladies who have tried this product, whether it lives up to its standard? And your opinion on this product?

I'm following this thread too, I've been thinking about getting it and I've also heard lots of good things about it so far.

I have it and it does live up to its claim. Although I have combo to dry skin. I still have to powder my nose when it gets shiny but the foundation itself does not break down or change color.

I have it and it is long wearing medium to full coverage I never had mine oxidize I have oily skin and I need to set it with translucent powder especially my forehead I didn't notice mine clogging my pores I haven't wore it for 15 hours but 10 and it was still looking ok not the best but presentable as for light welght I can feel it on me not to an annoying level but more than like nars sheer glow of course.

I love it. It's not holy grail material but close. I have very very oily skin, and I have worn it for 10hrs+ it stayed put. It is full coverage you can sheer it out with a sponge, so at times it may be hard to blend. I have started using the double wear light and it's a medium to full coverage with a natural finish and it stays put just as long. If you have very very oily skin ladies I'd recommend the original dw. But if you're combo/oily go with the dw light. For reference I'm nc 30 and in dw I'm shade 2w2 rattan and in dw light intensity 2.0.

I love this foundation. It literally last all day and doesn't oxidize. I think it does do everything it claims. By mid day I am shiny since I have really oily skin but that's as expected. It's my favorite foundation I've tried.
I always put moisturizer, use skindinavia oily skin spray, primer, foundation, spray again, then translucent powder.

I brought my first bottle last Friday and I'm a little disappointed by the hypes around it. It's suppose to be suited for every kind of skin type including oily & dry (I'm dry). It has a thick consistency and settles into a light powdery finish. My issues is that if you have facial hair (like normal not so noticeable all over your face kind), it can stick to them and can make them appear more obvious to the naked eye.
Second issue issue is the cakey feeling. I applied two layers (to hide pimple scarrings) & my skin felt a little tight and heavy. So I don't think this foundation is suited for layering, I ended up spot layering (just applying in dots on areas where is needing extra coverage).
I'm not completely sold on it so I started mixing my moisturizer to thin it out a bit.

If you have oily skin then it's meant to be great. A lot of my friends with oily skin use this and love it.
I have dry skin and I find that it doesn't really work for me. I also have the lightest shade and it still makes me look orange. If I mix it with my white base mixer then it's fine, but for the money, I shouldn't have to. It also makes me look cakey in areas and sticks to my dry skin. If you have dry skin, don't go there.
