I don't mean to come across as a downer or fuddy duddy, but check with your employers if there is a dress code. I don't know if this is a sleepaway camp or a daily camp or what; however, many jobs involving working with children do have at least a minimal dress code. Working six+ years for the YMCA has taught me that. While you want to look cute and be comfy, you still have to keep in mind there will be children AND parents watching you. Sadly, you could be the best counselor the program has, but if your shorts are too short (from a parent's perspective, not mine), they may very well lodge a complaint with your supervisors. Is it fair? Absolutely not! However I have seen people let go or not re-hired for "not following the dress code".
I'm not trying to be contentious, only trying to give you a heads up. :)
