It has to be fitted from the arms! And you can wear a jacket during summer, but I'd suggest it as a twist in your outfit for a night out.

You want to make sure the seaming on the shoulders hits right at the edge of yours. that seam cannot be tailored so it must fit in the shoulders. also you must be able to button/zip it up all the way without any pulling or gaps.
