Will this help with toning it?
It's a really light lavender so I don't really see how it's going to impact the color.
I read that some girl on here said to apply purple shampoo to dry hair for an hour and that that would help tone it aswell.
Does anyone have another product that helps them tone their hair?

If it's a shampoo and it's a light lavender color then it isn't dark enough to tone your hair. If it's conditioner and light lavender then yes it will.
For shampoo you need a darker purple because the shampoos sulfates will wash away most of the purple so that it doesn't color the hair too much
With conditioner the color has to be lighter since it doesn't have the sulfates
If it's too light then you can add a little bit of plain purple kool aid to it

I personally prefer using a toning conditioner since I'd have to use the shampoo all over and it'd be very drying
