What state are you in Christine? lancets are illegal to be used by estheticians in the State of California. Be careful where you go. Usually Dermatologist is the way to go for Milia extraction. If the Dermatologist do it carefully there shouldn't be any bruising :)

Ryan milia is like a pimple without a head. Therefore you can't have it removed the normal way you would a pimple, you have to make a hole in the skin so that the 'white head' can be removed.

I had milia when I was younger and had them all removed by a dermatologist, the derm gave me two options either have them frozen off one by one or have them "picked" off. I was told freezing hurt more so I went with the less painful it was as bad as popping a normal pimple. It looked like a tiny little scab only one of them left a tiny scar. And I haven't had to deal with them since.
