It can range between $150-250 depending on where you get it done (USD) but it depends on the length of your hair now and if they have to use more than one color that usually makes it more expensive - you might be better off dying it all the base color at home then getting the highlights at the salon afterwards

You should scope around your area you'll be surprised what you'll find and in cost.

You should take a look on Groupon or Livingsocial! I've been able to get professional cuts and deep conditions at high end places because of deals on those sites. It can help reduce the overall  cost.

I agree with Diana. When I get my highlights and lowlights done it's generally $100. cut included in that. But don't forget to tip!

It's the fact that you have red hair as well...it's very difficult to get those tones out and turn it into what you want without having to pay a lot. Personally, I wouldn't do a hair style like that at home

Yeah with tip and everything it can get pretty pricey especially if you go to a really great place like a Paul Mitchell salon - but another way to cut costs ( if you are willing to put up with it) is get it done at a beauty school (like a Paul Mitchell school) and it will be a lot less expensive but you will be dealing with someone who is not a professional yet - so it might take a really long time to get done because they will be learning as they go - but they are over seen by professionals so if anything goes wrong they will fix it - but it's an idea if you wanna do the whole thing at the salon but save money.
