I agree with alyx! (: if you don't have blonde hair and you really want it don't bother with diy! But my question is what if I have blonde hair and I just want it a little lighter, can I just stick with diys? Or sun in?

Katelyn it's possible to go lighter with diys if you're already blonde. But it still has the possibility to go orange and the likelihood of it being an even color is slim.

Yes and deep condition a lot. I'd recommend just bleaching it, it's likely less damage if you use it properly.

Be careful with Sun in. my sister used it non stop one summer, and one day after she straightened her hair and her hair just broke off. Her hair was past shoulder length and the top layers of her hair was only like 2 inches long. I'm not exaggerating. I agree with Alyx. It's definitely not worth the potentially drastic damage.
