Seriously, I've asked so many time before and everyone just says use dry shampoo and wash every two days, and I have been doing that for about 2 years now, but I need an actual solution for oily hair!!

I have very oily hair and here's some tricks I've found to help (won't get rid of the problem though):
-A rinse of a couple of tbs of Apple Cider Vinegar after shampoo and conditioner.
- A rinse of a couple of tbs of lemon juice after shampoo and conditioner
- A clarifying shampoo once a week (I found that one with sulfates helps the best, although I stay away from sulfates the rest of the week because then my hair gets even more oily)
- for a clarifying shampoo I like to use Lush's Jumping Juniper shampoo bar or Neutrogena's clarifying shampoo.
-I also use dry shampoo once in a while lol, and also don't shampoo everyday (I know you already got that advice)
- I find that the healthier I eat, the less oily my hair gets.
- I don't apply any products to my roots unless for special occasions. Hairspray, leave in conditioner, etc. makes my hair oiler.
- I started taking zinc and beta carotene for my oily skin and it has helped my hair to become less oily (talk to your doctor first).
I hope this all helps!

Um , I'm not sure if this will work on your hair , but when people have dry hair , it's best to use stuff like natural ingredients in your hair. When I say that , I mean avocados lml. I know it sounds weird. But it does work on some , I'm not sure if it'll work on your hair but you could try it to see. I hope I helped ~

When I said it won't get rid of the problem, I meant it will help for a while to get rid of the oiliness but won't permanently stop the oil. I didn't mean to say it wouldn't help when you use it. Lol sorry!
