After highlights.. Can I...?

Hey hunnies,

I got a full head of blonde highlights today. Can I put conditioner in my hair tonight in the shower? Will it effect the highlights? Should I wait until tomorrow?

They were done at 10am-2:30pm (left the salon at 2:30 and it's 8:30pm now.

How would it effect the high lights? The pigment from your hair is taken out, it's never coming back from those strands. Conditioning with a non sulfate conditioner would be fine and won't become dry. I'd highly suggest using a protein treatment since the bleach takes out the pigment as well as protein
