Soo I did what you guys said & got the color I wanted for my hair which was strawberry blonde, but it didn't come out so much.
Should I just use a little bleach next time? Or try to re dye?

I want the color to actually show.
Instead of only seeing it standing over a light. 😕

Looks great but did you do it yourself? If you have a specific color in mind, get it done professionally I think.

To get a real strawberry blonde, like this, you would need to bleach your hair, and I would recommend going to a professional with ANYTHING involving bleach, and I'm not talking master cuts or great clips!

Awh thanks! ☺️ &
No, I had someone do it for me. 😕 I've tried going to one salon & they said I'd have to start with highlights.
That's too much money for just getting one color. 😕

Thats ridiculous! Whoever you went to must not know what to do!
I don't know exactly what a strawberry blonde is but if its an all over color, there is no need for a highlight...

What the lady thought was. If I get highlights it wouldn't cause my hair to break as much?
Which doesn't make sense. Since I do want it all over.

It depends on your hair history as well.. have you been using any box color? Is your hair damaged and fried?

My hair is actually healthy. I wasn't dyeing my hair for a long time until I dyed it for this color.

Honestly, I don't see what's so wrong with bleaching your whole hair to get to where yu want it be.. its only damaging and causes breakage if the stylist isnt doing it correctly. I've boxed color my hair black for years.. even in the beginning of beauty school. I recently started bleaching my hair about last fall, it was pretty damaging.. but it was only cuz the girl didnt really know what she was doing.. So I took care of my hair. Got some trims, deep conditioned, used protectant sprays. Towards the end of the year, my friend bleached my entire hair to get really blonde so I can put fashion color in it.. it was impossible to get it really blonde because I've had so much box color in my color... But I got it blonde enough. The good thing was, my hair was still good condition. I've bleached my hair about 3 times within the last 6 months and my hair is still in great condition! No fry ends, no breakage. I took it slow bleaching my hair.. Like I had to bleach it several times to get to the blonde I needed my hair to be.

You can bleach your whole hair but you have to understand that you have to take it little by little to get your hair where you want it to be. It just really depends on your hair history and how blonde can you get without damage and to where you want it. I suggest you find a new stylist and see what they think you should do... You might be lucky and only need a one time visit, get yu blonde enough to get you that strawberry blonde.?Sorry for my long story.. Lol just thought it might help alil.
