Tips on curling with a flat iron?

I keep trying to curl using my flat iron but it doesn't work, it just comes out straight, any tips would be helpful thanks!

Try wrapping your hair around a pencil then clamping each wrap in the flat iron if that makes sense haha (:

How are you doing it? There are different ways to do it. Try trying from the top, clamping the hair. As you move it down, twist it while still going down. I hope that makes sense. If not, there are lots of YouTube videos

It honestly doesn't work on my hair either, It could be you're hair type or even the straightener. Try sleeping with your hair in a braid after your shower for a more waved look, or use a curling wand to make light natural curls:)

I would do it how Elizabeth told you. But you have to do it slowly and you cannot be forceful. Otherwise it will not work. It's hard to do. It took me so many try's to do it. Also going over the same strand won't help. After you try it twice or three times on a strand it will not work afterwards because of the heat that is being put on the hair.
