Nothing can make your hair grow faster^
Having healthy and strong hair maximizes the monthly growth rate of hair, which can be anywhere from 1/2 inch to 1 inch per month.
You just need moisture! Use a deeply penetrating oil like coconut or olive oil. Heat it up and apply to the hair and let it sit. Then shampoo and condition it out, try to you non sulfate shampoo for days when you need to wash grime away. Use something with sulfate when you want to get the oily residue out of your hair. Then use a sealant oil, my favorite it Moroccan oil, and put that on your hair in a light amount. This should help you 😊

Unfortunately you just have to grow it out and chop it all off Hun there is no reversing hair damage - once it's done you can't repair it - my hair was damaged by bleach a few years back n it took a long time to grow it all out and chop it all off - but once it was gone my hair was back to it's former (now current) glory and I'm currently taking great care of it to the point where I don't see split ends until 6 months after a hair cut - so unfortunately cutting it out is the only true way of getting rid of that damaged hair :T.

Kaitlin's right. The hair on your head is literally dead. you can take supplements but those usually come with side effects and yeah it grows but only so much.

Oh and as for your question, your best option is to grow it out and take care of your hair as best as you can. slowly trimming the dead parts as you go.

I will do all of the above. it seems like no matter how much I cut off its always dry and frizzy almost like damaged hair. I never really wanted to use oils because my hair is already so oily but I will try it.

Do not take any supplements without talking to your doctor. This includes biotin, vitamins like one a day or any of them. They are meant for people who are deficient, and as long as you're eating somewhat healthy the likelihood of you being deficient is low. Taking any pills or vitamins without talking to your doctor first and making sure your levels are not normal or high can lead to serious life threatening side effects. Especially biotin, because overdosing on it can lead to liver and kidney failure and that's really not worth having nice nails or hair that shines over.

And even these pills cannot increase the speed of your hair growth unless something else (like a vitamin deficiency) is slowing for down. The rate your hair grows at has a cap, most people it's between 1/2 an inch to 1 inch a month. That's determined by genetics and cannot be changed. Just like you can't change your blood type. You can do everything you can to keep your hair healthy and keep split ends at bay (but always cutting them off or it defeats the point) and that way you'll see more healthy growth vs how much you have to cut off each hair cut.
