Curly hair wanted

Ok my hair is naturally curly on the bottom layers but the very top layer is straight... A curling iron doesn't curl my... Any suggestions on how I can curl my hair...

Just braid it after a shower. its pretty & no use of heat :)

You could try a French braid (that usually still works on shorter hair) then scrunch it with some gel once it's mostly dry. That's what I do :)

I had the same problem instead that my hair is really long so I bought a kind of courler gel, I have no idea how to call it but it does wonders. It's from redken by the way. Hope I helped.

This takes a while but it totally works! First when you get out of the shower do mini braids from the top to the bottom until all your hair is in individual mini braids. I have curly hair just like yours and this works for me.
