I want to dye my hair back to blonde I know I'll have to bleach my hair but I was told to use toner aswell... But which one would I need and why? Really don't want ginger/yellowish patches x

I'm in the proccess of bleaching my hair too, going from dark brown to blonde.
I think you should wait to see how it turns out before buying the toner.
You should use purple shampo for yellow patches and blue shampo for redish patches.

Using toner takes out the brassy and yellow colours that you get when bleaching. I recently went to the hair dressers and had it bleached from brown to blonde and it first was yellow but after using toner it came out exactly how I wanted it! :)

If your not wanting to fry your hair then use only 10 vol on roots and 20 vol on length and let it sit for much longer then you would for 30/40 vol. it takes ages but really is much better for your hair
