How do you get nails to stop breaking or chipping off so easily?

use a clear coat or u could get a brand that helps with that

A cheap option is a nail hardener, you can get a drugstore one from $2-$8 . OR A home remedy is rubbing garlic on your nails. It smells bad for a little but you can wash your hands and they wont get flimsy (:
