I have a pretty clear face but on my cheeks and forehead some of the pores are at the point where they are noticeable. Like I know everyone has pores but I want them to appear smaller. Any tips or products?

Benefit porefessional or the Maybelline baby skin... you can wear either of them alone or under makeup!

Maybelline baby skin does not do ANYTHING to give the illusion of smaller pores. Lol.

Benefit porefessional is the best at covering pores, it works great and my pores are huge on my cheeks and nose

Exfoliate with a chemical exfoliant like AHA or BHA to deep clean them - otherwise you can also use a silicon based primer to fill in the pores as well.

I use those biore strips too and they have forehead ones as well. If you use a baking soda and water solution first, it makes them more effective. They make a noticeable difference in my pores but don't prevent blackheads. Just be gentle and don't use them over blemishes or too often! Make sure you also cleanse well afterward. Ugh so gross and yet so satisfying!

I guess it depends on your skin type?

I agree with the porefessional. It worked really well for my friend and most reviews are good if you look them up. But I do think it depends on your skin type and everything, I don't think anyone can tell you maybelline baby skin definitely won't work or that the porefessional definitely will. Try a few things out and see what works best!

I have huuuuge noticeable pores and they suck! I really love to use the biore nose strip, followed by an activated charcoal mask to draw out the rest of the dirt (you can buy the capsules or try the Origins clear improvement charcoal mask), and then follow that up with apple cider vinegar as a toner. It really helps to minimize the pores.

What Diana said!! I use a product called derma doctor ain't miss be havin - its a little pricey but it has really helped my pores and acne too. it has the aha bha situation she is mentioning and it never dries me out like other medicated exfolients.

Those pore strips aren't the best cure all. All they do is stretch the pore and if you already have enlarged pores overtime its only going to make them larger. And the adhesive that is used only removes the surface of the blackhead leaving the rest of it deeply imbedded in the pore. I wish they would just stop producing them. I fell for them when they first came out and years later I regret it because it did cause some stretching of my pores and the only thing that mimimize their appearance is by staying on top of my skincare.

I'm not sure, but assuming by picture, youre still pretty young... correct me if I'm wrong, and dismiss if this does not apply.

If you are still in teen years, its normal... its cause your hormones are doing what teen hormones do. Don't do anything drastic... a gentle clense. Like cetaphil... and a toner after... toner is key... I use thayers rose which hazel in my aesthetic practice. Its perfect. Rose water is lovely too. An spf in the day... and if you need it, a light, oil free moisture at night.

Once every two week, you can exfoliate, gently. Body shop makes a rice powder you can add water to.

Don't do too much...

Better to get a good setting powder. Right here on beautylish, rcma has the no color settin powder. When patted into skin, with a puff, then excess brushed off... it gives a lovely set.
