Okay so I feel like if I add just a tad too much eyeshadow I look like a clown. I hardly ever wear eyeliner or anything dramatic bc I'm so scared I'll look stupid. Basically I just use blush, mascara, foundation, lipstick. And I'm just tired of being basic. Is there a way I can slowly work up to a more dramatic look so I'm not judged as much??

Maybe try tightlining your eyes with a color that matches your eyelashes? Or a black one if your hair isn't black but you still use black mascara. I know when I tightline it just looks like thicker eyelashes but not too crazy. And also if people want to judge you, then let them. They're just jealous they can't pull off cool eyeshadow too.

I know what you feel lol. I want to do some of those dramatic looks but honestly I feel like a clown I don't know how it looks so perfect on these beautiful girls. 😩
Anyways you can always start simple & then keep adding more, to look a little more dramatic but not as much I recommend working with the things you already do but changing it up a little to make it hotter, I would use eyeshadow but a bronzed color, beige, brown, nude maybe a color that compliments your eyes but does not stand out so much. I would add a little eyeliner just at the end of the eye or maybe just tighline. And of course mascara, for cheeks if you're tired of using blush maybe use a bronzers that adds warmth to your face & compliments your skin tone, & for lipstick I would try tinted lip stains and maybe use a tiny amount but pick colors that pop a little more & of course compliment your skin tone. For summer corals pinks, peaches & baby pinks look beautiful! Also if you would like to full in your brows to changed it a bit more I'd do so but don't make them look perfect if you don't want too use a shadow or a pencil & just lightly & gently fill them in :) I think Jessica is the best example of simple yet beautiful makeup she never wears fake eyelashes & like I mentioned she's wearing a bronzed eye look with bronzed cheeks & a lip color that makes the whole look stand out :)

Thanks, ladies. I'm going to look up a tutorial to tightline, as I've never even heard of it haha. I will definitely try these tips!

1. Make sure that you are blending your eyeshadow.
2. Depending on how pigmented the eyeshadow is, you only have to dab it in a little bit. I know that was one of my problems.
3. Make sure you are not using colors that is too harsh for your skin tone. I use to use jet black but it looked so weird but I used navy blue and it work perfect...you can do this with other colors too.
