I've heard that about the KVD liquid lipsticks but I've never experienced that myself, the flaking. I would try Lizzy's suggestion of Stila's version. Try it on in the store and see how it wears. I like Catherine's photo. As for M.A.C lippies, I have Dark Side, so pretty. Maybe it's too dark for a wedding but a hallowedding, maybe not... :)

I love the stila liquid lipsticks. I have aria and fiore (hot pink, not pictured)... they are mega drying tho. but they don't budge.

Yesss they are Sooo drying and flake hardcore. I had a few and returned them because I looked in the mirror in my car while I was out and about and saw a bunch of lil red flecks smeared across ny chin and spots missing on my lips. not a good look for anyone lol.

Honestly my lips feel like the Sahara no matter what I use, so I thought I was the only one who found the Stila lipsticks drying lol! Erica, have you looked into the OCC Lip Tars? I've never tried them myself so I can't speak from experience, but from what I've heard they're supposed to have great staying power.

Funny that you mention the lip tars cause I was just thinking about that in the car. I was like "oh yeah, maybe the occ lip tars might be good and I can mix up my own custom shade" lol.

I have occ lip Tars.
I didn't set it with translucent powder but they come off if you touch it or kiss something, like your hubby. lol at least for me.
lime crime velvetines don't make my lips dry like the stila ones but they don't have a berry at all.

Yeah. that's the only thing cause they do last a long time.
but kissing, eating cake, it'd b smeared across your face. lol.. I wore one of the red shades (psycho I think) to a trendy type lounge. but I ate tacos n needed to touchup. n that stuff had stained my fingers. it was everywhere. lol.

If you blot the stained gloss by occ lip tar that's an option. they have a pretty berry color.
