I'm leaving a lil on my ends tonight and washing it out tomorrow, has anyone else tried coconut oil on their hair? Thoughts/opinions?

Its honestly really great it really hydrates your hair and makes your hair get back that natural shiny look. You should apply it when not going out so your hair doesn't look greasy! ❤️

Coconut is actually really beneficial to your hair knowing its one of the only oils your hair can just suck up (:

I'm on fence... I did this overnight... washed maybe 32 hours after applying... my hair felt dry, and ends were funky. Plus my scalp itched when I had it in the next day... I'm not allergic or sensitive to coconut. I love it. Its so heavy though.
I washed it with pureology shampoo. And conditioned with matching product. Think its just too much protien at once, for my hair at least... raw, coconut oil that is.
I use a product now with coconut oil now... but its one of many ingredients. I like that a lot.

You can actually leave it in as long as you don't put to much in.

I tried it a couple times...I don't know it just didn't work for me...left my hair greasy I had to shampoo twice. Maybe I used too much I don't know. It is oil though, doesn't wash out as easy as a typical hair mask. Many people love it though I hope you like it.

I LOVE it for my hair AND skin. my hair is very thick and about 4 inches below my shoulders. since its summer and the oil becomes liquid, an amount about the size of a nickle works well. I don't apply it to my roots, primarily on the ends and about halfway up the shaft. I use it as a leave in. it also works great as a cuticle oil and replacement for lotion.

100% pure/organic Coconut Oil is what I use. I love it!! It really did well with my hair and scalp :) I find it easier to do hair treatments at night; so I just literally lather my scalp and all of my hair with it, tie it in a nice loose bun, tie a bag over my hair and go to bed.

When you first wash it out, it makes your hair kind of dry. But the next day it really kicks in and gets suuuuper soft! Its worth the wait!

I've used for such a long time and my hair is so long, thick, and healthy! <3 Use a hair mask every other week with 2 eggs and 4 tablespoons of coconut oil. Let it set for 30 minutes and then shampoo and condition as usual. Works great :)
