I'm thinking in investing in some quality brushes and I've heard a lot about sigma but is it really worth the hype? or do you recommend another brand?

They are decent brushes, but there's better. I have the F80 and F86. I don't reach for the F86 very much. I've experienced some shedding with the F80 and is no longer super flat like it started out (uneven bristles). Will I repurchase? Nope. But it's lasted longer than It cosmetics "heavenly" flat top brush. Psssh, 4 months have past, it's shedding horribly and the handle is about to fall apart. I took very good care of it, and didn't use it much. I don't recommend that brand either! I'd recommend Sonia Kashuk brushes(lasted me for a year and ongoing!). I'd also recommend Wayne Goss brushes, too. My brush collection isn't as worthy as Jacqueline's, so I can't recommend much! ;)
