I have the Same problem. Maybe try curling with a flat iron, it's much easier well for me at least. I'm sure there are plenty of videos on YouTube

I have this curling wand. It is by far the best thing I've ever got I got it about 8 years ago. It's a Mary Kate and Ashley curling wand. but if you can find anything this kind of style you will be able to curl your hair. It's so easy to use and gives leaves you with nice curls.??
