I was thinking about primers the other day and thought, " Is it okay to put primers under the eyes? Will it help with creasing or longevity?" What do you think? Would Smashbox photo finish primer be a good one?

They sell a primer specifically for under the eyes and the lids. It is Benefit's Stay Don't Stray! I love it and it helps my under eye concealer stay on longer!

Smashbox also has a primer specifically for under eyes that adds a little extra coverage since they are colored and come in different shades. I usually just use my regular eye primer, the smashbox photo finish one in particular actually. Works well for me, I just hydrate the area first, let it absorb a little and put my primer right over it and it definitely helps keep concealer in place.

When I do my eyeshadow if I know I'm going to put eyeshadow on my lower lash line, I put my eye primer there too :) I find it keeps it there longer and it helps bring the color out, as it would on the lid.

I use the Too Faced Primed & Poreless primer for all over my face, including underneath my eyes. it's a great primer for keeping my concealer in place. I use a creaseless concealer so the primer mainly helps with longevity.
as for eye primers, I use UD's Primer potions in either Sin or Eden depending on what eyeshadows I'm using. I've never used an eye primer to help with concealer tho.

Yes it is more then fine to use there it helps prevent your under eye concealer from creasing- like you said
but its better to use a eye primer for your eyeshadow as it can be a sensitive area so you want one made for you eye area
Hope that helps

Yes you can definitely use eyeshadow primers under your eyes. If you put it under your undereye concealer, it will help with its longevity and prevent creasing for a longer period of time, if any. :)
