I'm confused what color products I should be using for contouring vs which products I should be used for bronzing please help?!

Bronzer has shimmers and you use that on the edges of your face to give you a nice glow and then contour is a matte powder to sculpt your face.

Bronzer is for adding a healthy glow to our fave or for the places the sun hits and contour is used for sculpting your face (:

Is benefit hoola better for bronzer or contour?

Benefit hoola is a bronzer. Contour is a matte, cool brown color with almost ashy undertones. Bronzers are usually warm, and or have sparkle in them. Also bronzers are meant for warming up a face so even if you did find a matte cool bronzer, the pigmentation would be far too light and would require quite a heavier hand and produce a much muddier application. It would just be easier to buy a sculpting power!

I agree with Em a contour should be neutral colors to resemble the natural shadows of the face

Mara S. You can use Hoola to contour. Shaaanxo, Lauren Curtis, Amanda Ensing, etc... all contour with this product. It looks great!

Hoola is more for contouring because it's matte I use nars Laguna bronzer to bronze my skin and give me a little glow because it has little shimmers in it and then I'll go in with hoola to make my cheekbones more defined.

It really doesn't matter in my opinion. Most powders named Bronzers are beautiful as contours as well. I even like to lightly contour with a shimmery bronzer sometimes and it still provides the contouring effect but adds a glowy look as well. Weird to explain haha:)

It really just depends on your preference and the looks you want to achieve. Makeup should be a trial and error kind of process and you should feel free modifying it to your own style! :)
