Is it possible to have extensions made from your own hair? If so, where can I do this? I have waist length hair and want to go short, but I'd like to put the hair I cut off to use for later when I inevitably decide to grow it back out. I've done Locks for Love many times in the past, but this time it's for me.

You could probably just go to your salon and tell them you want to keep your hair and they will cut it similar to the way they would if you were donating but just give it to you. As for how to get it on wefts etc. you could probably learn to do that yourself or do some google searching for a company that will do it for you
