What mac foundation shade would be best for my skin as I am really pale and I have dry skin! I have been wanting to try a high-end foundation but I don't want to waste my money on a product that doesn't work!

I would suggest to simply go to the MAC store so they can match you in person. The sales associates can also help find the foundation that will suit your skin type and concerns.

Yes,
I agree with Katherine that you should go to the store. The employees can easily match you and they have a great knowledge base. However, if you go make sure you dress semi-nicely. I've had a few bad experiences if I run in after school or work because I need more foundation or something and I'm not wearing my best stuff. I did have someone comment before on my work clothes and how I probably didn't make enough to afford the foundation I was buying. Unfortunate that happens at almost every store. Is say to just dress nicely when going into the store and only test things you are considering buying. But I think to find your best shade and kind if foundation the employees will be able to hook you up better than any of us could!
