So I went swimming today and I made the stupid choice of NOT wearing sunscreen and of course I got sunburned... Badly. I was wondering: is it still okay to wear makeup? Or should I lay off for a while? And does makeup make it worse?
Please help!
Thank you

Idk about the makeup, but you should get some aloe Vera, fresh or that aloe gel.

Agree. I'd also stay away from makeup for a week or so :)

If you need to wear makeup I'd stick with something light and moisturizing like a bb cream, also aloe vera lotion works a hundred times better than aloe vera gel and won't make your skin look shiny

Stay away from any face products.

If your sunburn is bad or you easily peel, your face will probably peel & putting makeup on would just make it worse & your face will get flaky.

I agree with others. Make-up + sunburn = no! Just because you should allow yourself time to heal up. Some make-up enhances your chances of sunburn or skin discoloration. Although, most brands now have SPF. This is time to allow your skin to heal up!

Avoid face makeup but you should still be able to use lip products, I also wouldn't recommend using mascara just in case.

Just to give you an idea of how bad the sunburn is. It's actually redder than it is in the picture :\ but I would like to say thank you so much for the feedback so far!
