Controlling my wavy hair.

Ok so my hair is naturally like this and even though I appreciate my hair...I wish I could control what my curls look like without adding heat. I love straightening my hair and even though I use heat protectant, I still feel guilty for heating my hair. I also feel like adding heat slows my hair growth.

When I try to add more curls and make it look smooth and not frizzy and all over the place, I use morrocan surf paste. I like it and it smells awesome but I still don't think it helps (or maybe I don't use it right). I've used mousse before but my hair hardens and the effects that and hairspray has.


Also please excuse the strange glare on my face!

I found this small bottle of shampoo called "control my curlz" (yes, with a z) and it really did a good job at making my frizzy/wavy/curly hair more curly but manageable!

Garnier has a spray designed for wavy hair. I really can't remember the name of it, but the bottle is transluscent green. It works wonders :)

Give salt spray a try, it has done foolr me what nothing else has in curl definition and control.

There is no control! just kidding. I feel the same way at times because my hair is also wavy. I use the treseme (sp?) frizz control line - just the cream and the serum. Sometimes after my shower as well, I do not put any products in my hair - just as a break and the strange thing is that I likes no products in my hair for that. I use a curling cream by not your mothers, it's in a purple bottle and I'm not sure what it's called (I think kinky curls), it's great!! You just need to find products that work for you and it's a pain :/ I don't wear mouse in my hair either. The less products you have, the better

Thanks Brianne! There are days when I feel there is ABSOLUTELY no control haha.
