It doesn't matter what type of dye your using, home hair color is not the best for your hair. if your coloring your hair frequently then you are prone to color build up. this happens when you pull the color thru root to ends way too much. color build up will dull your hair, and dry it out among other things. I know it's not always in someone's budget, but like every professional will recomend, go to a salon if you can. especially when switching colors a lot.

Just do the roots UNLESS you are changing the color completely. also, I use coconut oil as a leave in conditioner. DON't dye your hair right away if you mess up. wait at least 4 days or else your hair will get very damaged. I wasn't thinking recently and dyed my hair twice in less than 24 hrs. needless to say
I messed it up.?? before this incident, my hair was very healthy. so beware. lol.
