Roots Are Lighter Than The Rest Of My Hair

I dyed my hair auburn about 5 days ago and when I went to school people noticed I dyed my hair but they told me it only looked like I dyed it at the top.. I previously had my hair a brown/black color. I have one more box of the auburn dye, would it help if I dyed everything but my roots again?
