There is no fast removal of chicken pox scars. I have two on my thigh...came down with it at 17 and I'm 40 now...took me a loooonnnggg time to fade them so they wouldn't look so intense. Tried Bio Oil and that was a joke. What worked for me...even though I wasn't always consistent with daily application...mixture of pure vitamin e oil and pure coco butter that I bought from the health food store. Chicken pox scars penetrate the skin much deeper than your typical acne scar so that's why it takes longer for them fade. Also sunscreen of 30 is vital because sun exposure will also cause further darkening of the scar.

I had bad chicken pox scars. Two sessions in a tanning bed and they were gone!

Kendall...gone only because you darkened up your skin overall to match the scar. Tanning beds are not a cure all and they certainly lead to premature aging of the skin. The damage is cumulative over a period time. Not worth it. Self tanners...the way to go.

Chicken pox marks are scar tissue ,you can try mederma, you can also try microdermabrasion it will take time and you have to stick with the mederma for months but it can flatten scar tissue ,and I definitely agree with Shelley tanning is terrible for your skin and causes pre mature aging ,
