ok so I went n bought collosal cat eye masscara because everyone was raving about how good it was but I can honestly I wasted money on this product it was clumpy flakey even my babe told me it looked horrible with all those black flakey things on my face

Mascara is the trickiest part of makeup. It can work for a lot of people, but work horribly for someone else and vice versa.

Mascara is such a frustrating purchase! I love ones with smaller wands but the trend seems to be big fluffy wands :( My eyes are too small for those giant mascara wands!

Agreed with Rikki. I have the Colossal Cat Eyes and it works just fine for me. Just not for everyone I guess. :)

Certain lashes are oily or won't stick and different climates react as well. I've gone through many brands till I found the ones that worked

I hated it too! OMG lol. The brush was like, reaaaally hard and the bristles were too. It didn't do anything. Worst mascara everrrrr

As Rikki said, mascaras are hard to take peoples advice on (I'd say foundation is the hardest, because my skin is so weird, but mascara is second). Everyone's eyelashes react differently depending on length, oiliness, curliness, etc. It's mostly just gotta be trial and error, unfortunately. That's why I don't buy high end mascaras without trying them first, thankfully for you it wasn't too too expensive.

@ Kristen M. Omg ! I agree.. I like the wands to be more smaller and defined.When I use them I feel like im combing my eyelashes, but using a big, fluffy wand I feel like im brushing my eyelashes and that they're more prone to being clumped.

it's true, mascara works differently for different people. rimmel always flakes, maybelline is fine, the absolute best is covergirl lash blast. for me at least :)
