The shade is probably a little off. I have the same problem when I think I have it all blended then walk outside and look in my car mirror... 😑 so not blended lol. Were you in natural light?

It might possibly just be the wrong foundation for you. I have had this happen to me before and the color matched perfectly but ended up oxidizing with my skin. I recommend a new foundation and try using a primer if you don't already. What skin type do you have?

It probably just oxidized like Lisa said then. :)

Yeah I would try it with primer and see if it does it or just try a new foundation or maybe the same in a lighter shade. As far as high end brands go I would maybe try Makeup Forever Mat Velvet, UD Naked Skin (this is an overall foundation similar to True Match but better in my opinion), Nars Sheer Matte, Lancome Tient Idol.

UD Naked Skin is my favourite foundation. It never oxidizes on my skin even though most foundations oxidizes on my skin

It's oxidizing on your skin. I use L'Oreal True Match as well and I do find it to have an orange-ish tone to it sometimes. You need to use a really good primer and powder over top. I found sometimes in the mirror mine would look slightly orange but outside it would look fine. I started using Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer and I use the L'Oreal True Match Pressed Powder 2 shades lighter than my foundation. I also apply the foundation very lightly on the skin. I try not to build it up too much to prevent it from looking orange.

Oxidizing happens with all foundations it's your daily skin routine that needs help and adding a silicon primer helps as well. You can change up any foundation but it will occur until you get your skin care in control with the right tools and keep your makeup similar in ingredients.I asked about the powder because I needed to know if it's interacting with your foundation as well with your skin especially if the powder is Cover girl mixed with Water, ISODODECANE, Silicone ingredient in L'oreal. L'oreal is very good but does so much better with similar ingredients as well just like using something in their sister brand Maybelline.Sometimes when your skin is lacking it's acting like it's trying to breath and breaks through with an opposite reaction with cosmetic's.

I use the same foundation and now I know that the foundation oxidizes. Try to use a different powder.
