I have been debating wether to dye my hair blue or lilac for a while. I love my natural hair color and everyone tells me not to dye my hair ,but I just want a change. I am not sure how I would look. If anyone could give me their opinions on the matter I would appreciate it. Thank you! ❤️

I wouldn't color your whole head blue. maybe try a few pieces here and there. something fun for summer. blue and lilac can be high maintenance.

I don't think you should completely dye your entire head blue or lilac I would personally dip dye the ends, something like these...

I agree with these ladies, a few chunks or just the ends would look awesome. I had all of my hair purple a few months back and even though it looked rad it was a huge pain and I was so over it within a month lol I have a chunk on each side of my face red right now (profile pic) and it's sooooo easy to deal with😉💋

I don't think blue hair would suit you. You should stick to light shades like blonde and light brown. But you could always bleach your hair a little bit (or you don't have to but it will just look better in my opinion) and get some purple hughlights. Something like these..

You can't tell in my profile pic plus my hair dresser was in a really bad car wreck about a year ago so I waiting on an appointment BUT I have natural blonde hair and I keep my hair dyed some funky color but I cut my hair short years ago. Like others have said maybe you should start out with some chunks or highlights or tips. When the color starts fading out the 1st time is when you'll hate it or love it b/c you'll want to re-dye it or bleach it back out...
Just a tip to lock in the color is to wash your hair with vinegar 1st, just like dying Easter Eggs, before you put any other product (shampoo, style products, etc) on it...makes the color more vibrant and last up to 2 weeks longer depending on color you use.
I've been using a neon/bright pink for 5+ years when it was 1 of the few colors you could get permanent & before all these pics were all over the internet...
