How to get natural wavy hair

Do you want tight waves? Lose waves? Blended waves? Sporadic waves?
There are a few ways to go about it. You can first use a 3 barrel waver. They come in different sizes. I have the jumbo waver from Revlon. You can look at some of my videos for when I have my hair waved. They are really wide and together. The wavers will give you waves that all blend together.
Another way is any braids, basically. Before you go to bed, on damp hair, do two french braids. This will give you semi tight waves that are very randomly placed. I think these look more 'beachy.' Obviously if you do one braid the waves will be looser. And the smaller the braid, the tighter the wave.
You don't always have to do french braids. You can do a bunch of regular three strand braids around your head and this will give you a really cute crimped effect.
One of my favorites to do is two fishtail braids low at the sides. The waves a fishtail braid gives are very unique, but oh so cute.
Creating waves is really an experimental process. There are so many ways you do it. It's all about finding your favorite; one that you can do fast and easy, one that suits you well, and one that you love.
I hope this helped. :)
