I hate the naked 2. I've only used it twice, such a waste of money. I don't know what it is, but the colors don't look good on me at all

I really can't compare the two just because they are quite different. Naked basics is a great small matte pallet. While Naked 2 has many many shimmers satins and glitters with only two? mattes I think. I love Naked one over Naked 2 and Naked 3. Naked basics goes great with Naked 1, 2, and 3.

I think you're trying to compare Apples to Oranges. I know some will disagree with me but I don't feel the Naked Basics Palette is what I would consider a "primary" palette. Don't get me wrong, I love this palette but for me its an accessory shadow palette to my regular shadow palettes. I don't own any Naked Palettes other than the Basics. I have a couple Bobbi Brown Palettes & the Too-Faced Chocolate Bar Palette which I consider my primary palettes. I also own another BB palette that has just light "transition" colors which is another "accessory" palette. I'm not saying you can't do several complete eye looks with the Basic Palette, it's just not what I would use alone to do an eye look. That's just my perspective.
