My nails are thin and brittle to say the least. I'll have them grown out and the next day, two of my nails are broken off! *Frustrating*. How would I stop them from breaking and keep them strong? :( H.e.l.p.

Keep polish or at least a top coat on at all times

Make sure you are getting the necessary vitamins that make nails stronger! Other than that try a nail strengthener or hardener, and also moisturize your nail and cuticle with moisturizer! It's better if it has lanolin in it!

It might be the shape you have. I know when I don't have my corners rounded off, they get snagged on stuff really easily and will rip off. Also try a strengthener, I swear by Nailtiques. I'll usually use it alone as a treatment for a week, then as a base coat. It works wonders!

Always wear nail polish. I had acrylic nails for 2 years and when I stopped having them my nails were weak and brittle. I initially stated painting them to cover up how bad they looked but over time they became stronger and stronger. My advice would be to always wear a base coat and top coat with your polish though. I didn't and not only do they easily chip, but some colours can stain your nails yellow underneath. Try it!

Don't wear artificial nails because they'll damage and weaken ur nail.
No fingernail biting!
Eat healthy
File them once they get long to maintain them
Use "strengthening" stuff such as strengthening nail polish and nail polish remover.
