To the moderators; sorry if this is not in the correct category! I put it in makeup since its a makeup stain. And if this is off topic/not allowed, then I understand if you delete it.
I just spilled liquid eyeshadow on my pale colored carpet and have no idea how to get it off! The eyeshadow is from bare minerals and it has a sponge applicator, if that helps at all. It's a dark taupe color and its left a massive stain on the carpet in my sunroom, the only carpeted room in my house. Leave it to me to spill it in the only place we have carpeting. Ugh. Do you ladies have any tips on how to get liquid eyeshadow out of carpet? I need all the help I can get.

I would say put some make up remover on top of the stain leave it for a few minutes and SCRUB like you've never scrubbed before!! This method usually takes make up off my cream coloured carpet.

Look this up on Pinterest!! They have tons of stuff you can try, pat don't rub because then it will just make it worse.

Thanks ladies. And Lisa, I just learned that rubbing makes it worse the hard way. Thanks for the idea to look on Pinterest. (:

Don't rub, press. Lots of soapy water should do the trick. Baking soda is also supposed to be good

I hear club soda is ideal for removing stains off carpet. Maybe google it first but as long as it's just fizzy water (not sweetened or flavored or colored- San Pellegrino will do) you'll be fine.

Try the cleaner called "Awesome" you can find it pretty much anywhere and it's only like $1. I dropped my mascara brush on my white rug and it left a terrible mess. That stuff took it right out. Just sprayed it and let it soak for a few then dabbed. Easy breezy babes.
