My hair is a natural blonde with a light blonde dye on it at the moment, I need to know how to get my hair dark brown and how to maintain the colour once my roots start to show. I can afford to go to the salon every so often - but not all the time?? Please help friends <3

To help maintain it you could use shampoo for color treated hair
And you could try that root touch up thing from the drugstore so you won't have to go to the salon so often

Really? Wow, have you ever done it on blonde hair?

I know it's not the answer you want, but you have lovely hair, and dye will ruin it. I dyed my hair before, it's so damaging... Can't get my natural shine back :(

I would use a henna hair dye (like the Lush ones) they are conditioning and come in a brick so you have some left over for the next time you need to touch up the roots

Just buy a box dye the color you want and do that.

When I had my hair bleached for like one day lol I hated it so I literally dyed it blackk and it covered it all the blonde of course it faded to a beautiful light brown thoughh

Don't use henna because if you plan on going lighter again it'll cause some issues as henna can leave really odd tones that are hard to get out.
Most hair that goes darker tends to look smoother and healthier for some reason.
You can easily go brown but since your hair is quite light you'll need a filler color first. It would be like using a black crayon on white paper, at first it'll be a gray color so instead of doing it again (in this case, using developer and color) you use a filler color (anything that can deepen the color of your hair like a temporary color) so if you used gray on the white paper first and then the black then you would get a very black color without having to keep on putting on black. I'm not sure if this is true with crayons but it's just the only way I could put it

I've heard about using a filler colour - but does that mean when I touch my roots up I'll have to fill those too??
