Hey guys,
So I've been watching tutorials and trying to create looks or recreate there's but it's not working. My eyeshadow always looks way different; messy, not as bright, looks weird on my eyes. So I was just wondering what you guys do when you apply eyeshadow and such? Any tips to making your eyes look good? And also how do you make your eyeliner even on both sides? I'm having a lot of trouble with that.

Try a eyeshadow primer before you put on your eyeshadow. To make the color stay and brighter.

Do you know what type of primer works best?

Elf eyeshadow primer or the urban decay eyeshadow potion.

I like using the nyx jumbo eye pencil in milk, it creates a good, staying base for my shadow. For even liner, you could try tape.

I use urban decay primer potion & to get bright colors, I use a white eyeshadow stick as a base all over my lid to make the color pop.

Try a primer or a base. I use urban Decay's primer potion (it lasts forever if you only use a little dab on your lid) and NYX's pencil in milk as an eyeshadow base. Sometimes I just use primer. Make sure to also use a setting spray. As for eyeliner being even...just practice a lot! There are lots of very experienced people who still continue with the struggle of even liner so don't feel bad lol (:
